Condition: Preferably, items will be scratch-free or have very light surface scratching that won't affect playback. Do they have original cover art? Any pen markings, cracks, rips, tears, sticker residue, or other signs of heavy wear? These all impact value, with some being deal-breakers (smoke, water, or mold damage).
Desirability: It's important to consider how common or rare an item is and what the market looks like for it. Even the best collections turn up common, hard-to-sell titles we're unlikely to take. Is it long out of print, a special edition, or does it have other unique qualities? If it's truly collectible, in great condition, and in demand, we can pay a premium. If not, we can't.
A Note on VHS: VHS tapes are less in demand overall, with more weight placed on rare and out-of-print titles. We won't pay for most VHS but are often willing to take them as part of a larger transaction.
Collection Size: Larger collections take more time to process. Let us know if you're looking to sell everything or want us to pick and choose — a large volume of less-desirable titles can affect the overall offer.
What We Pay: It helps if you know what you want for your items, but there's no one-size-fits-all pricing — we determine value item-by-item and can't make an offer until we see things in person. In full transparency, we lean toward modern, new, and unique releases; collectible, uncommon, out-of-print, or sealed items earn a premium.
Store Credit: Prefer to get more out of your trade-in? We offer store credit in lieu of cash, typically 1.5x to 2x our cash offer.
Pick-ups: In some cases we'll make house calls to pick up items. If you'd rather not sell, we also accept physical media donations.
