What Are the Value Bins?
At Razzle Dazzle Music & Movies, we believe that building a great physical media collection shouldn't break the bank. While we take pride in our selection of boutique labels and high-end 4K releases, there's a special kind of magic to be found elsewhere in Value Bins. But what exactly goes into them, and why should you check them out?
What Makes a Value Disc?
Not every movie fits the main catalog, and that’s where the value bins come in. Generally, items land here for three reasons:
Ex-Library Copies: They might have rental stickers or markings that don’t affect the play but impact collectibility.
Character & Wear: Some cases are a little rough around the edges or the discs are a little beat up. If we decide not to resurface or deep-clean a common title, it goes straight to the bins.
Overstock: Sometimes we just have too much of a good thing. If the shelves are full, we pass the savings on to you.
The Strategy: Better Than Streaming
Some people ask, "Is it worth it?" In the shop's first five months we’ve sold over 6,000 value discs. That’s 6,000 times someone's found a hidden gem, a nostalgic favorite, or a weird indie flick they’d never seen before. And for a fraction of a single month's streaming subscription, you can own a handful of movies that will never disappear from your digital library.
The Pricing Schedule
The bins are rotated every single Friday to keep things moving and make sure there’s always something new to find. Additionally, we use a sliding price scale to add a little more incentive to dig in as each day of the week passes:
Friday: $1.00 per disc
Saturday & Sunday: 2 for $1.00
Monday & Tuesday: 4 for $1.00
So whether you’re looking for a cheap weekend movie marathon or trying to fill the gaps in your collection, the Value Bins are a rotating treasure trove.
